Required forms before arrival

• -Student health history and physician-signed physical dated within 12 months of the session
• -Massachusetts-compliant immunization record
• -Emergency contact and medical treatment authorization
• -Medication administration form for any prescription or over-the-counter medication
• -Insurance information; international families should provide travel medical coverage details
• -All forms are due 14 days before arrival. A student cannot begin programming without a completed medical file.

Allergy management

• -Food allergies are recorded at registration and shared with dining services and residential staff
• -Nut-aware dining stations, labeled ingredients and alternative meal options
• -Students prescribed epinephrine carry an auto-injector where age appropriate, with backups held by staff
• -Environmental and insect allergies are logged in the student's medical file and covered in staff briefings

Medication process

• -All medication arrives in original labeled pharmacy packaging
• -Medication is checked in at arrival and stored securely, refrigerated where required
• -Trained staff administer doses on schedule and log every administration
• -Self-carry is permitted only for inhalers, epinephrine and diabetes supplies with written parent authorization

On-campus health coverage

• -Licensed athletic trainers on site during training and activity blocks
• -Health center coverage with on-call nursing support for residential students
• -All staff hold CPR and First Aid certification and complete mandated reporter training
• -Documented emergency protocol with an accredited hospital minutes from campus
• -Parents are notified promptly of any injury, illness or medical visit beyond routine first aid

Staff screening and supervision

• -CORI and national criminal background checks plus reference verification for every staff member
• -Residential staff live in the halls and are on duty 24 hours a day
• -Sign-in and sign-out procedures, nightly headcounts and secure residence hall access
• -Student-to-staff ratios kept small in every program

What to pack

• -Athletic clothing and training gear for the full week, plus sport-specific footwear
• -Swimsuit, towels, toiletries, refillable water bottle, sunscreen and a light jacket
• -Bedding for a twin XL bed, or reserve a linen pack at registration
• -Laundry bag; weekly laundry service is provided for residential students
• -Any required medication in original labeled packaging

What not to bring

• -Weapons of any kind, including pocket knives
• -Alcohol, tobacco, vaping devices, cannabis or any illegal substance
• -Unauthorized supplements or energy products
• -Large amounts of cash, jewelry or irreplaceable valuables
• -Vehicles, e-scooters and hoverboards
