What information we collect from student families, how it is used, and the choices you have.

Information we collect
- -Family contact details submitted through request-information and registration forms
- -Student details such as name, age, gender, program and week selections
- -Health, allergy, medication and emergency-contact information provided on medical forms
- -Travel details including flight information for airport pickup and guardianship paperwork
- -Payment information processed by our payment provider; full card numbers are never stored by CATS
- -Basic technical data such as pages viewed, device type and referring source
How we use information
- -Operating our summer programs, placement, rooming, supervision and medical care
- -Communicating with parents and guardians before, during and after a program week
- -Processing deposits, tuition balances, discounts and refunds
- -Improving our programs, website and family communications
- -Sharing information about CATS Academy Boston admissions where a family has expressed interest
Children's privacy
Student information is submitted by a parent or legal guardian. We do not knowingly collect information directly from children under 13 without verifiable parental consent, and student data is used only to operate the program and keep students safe.
How we share information
- -Service providers who help us run our programs: payment processing, email delivery, hosting and transportation partners
- -Medical and emergency personnel when necessary to protect a student's health or safety
- -CATS Academy Boston, where a family has requested admissions follow-up
- -Authorities where required by law or mandated reporting obligations
- -We do not sell family or student personal information
Photography and media
Program activities may be photographed or filmed for program and marketing use. Families may opt out of media use at registration or at any time by emailing us.
Data retention and security
We keep family records for as long as needed to operate the program and meet legal, medical and financial recordkeeping obligations. Access is limited to staff who need it, and information is stored on access-controlled systems.
Your choices
- -Request a copy, correction or deletion of your family's information
- -Withdraw media consent
- -Unsubscribe from marketing email at any time using the link in any message
